Low Carbon Marston is hosting two screenings in November 2026

LCM is hosting two free screenings of the People’s Emergency Briefing film, in which nine leading UK scientists and experts update us on the latest in the climate and nature crisis and its impacts on everyday national life – featuring Chris Packham and guests. The first Marston screening will be in Old Marston on Sunday 8th and the next one in New Marston on Tuesday 24th.

Depending which date is best for you, please book your free seats via Eventbrite as space is limited. All the information is at these links:

Old Marston: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2002618211981
New Marston: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2002795029848

Everyone aged 16+ is welcome and there will be some refreshments available before the film starts. There will be time for reflection and discussion after the film, focusing on what we can do, as well as some expert panelists as special guests.

We hope to see you there!

Monthly Bike Doctor in Marston

LCM hosts monthly Bike Doctor sessions at the Marston Eco Hub. These occur usually on the fourth Saturday of each month. There will be no session in December. This community service, supporting active travel, is now supported for three years by funding from the Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) Grassroots Funding Programme, administered by Oxford City Council. Advance booking is always essential and service users pay for parts by cash or card to the service provider. Dates and details will be announced on our Facebook page and WhatsApp group. Additional donations direct to LCM are also welcome, towards the future of this service (Ref: Bike Dr).
