Detergent Refill Station
The refill shed is open during daylight hours!
– Avoid acquiring new plastic bottles/packaging!
– Please come and refill your clean empty bottles (up to 2L per
product, so there’s enough to go around between restocks)!
– We have 15 liquid detergents and toiletries, all ethical and eco-friendly products made and distributed by Oxford-based company, SESI.
– We also have cooking oil and ‘naked’ recycled UK toilet paper and
kitchen roll (bring a clean bag for paper products), also from SESI.
– Prices and payment details are provided on site. Pay by cash or bank
transfer (Ref: Refills) to cover our costs. Pay a little more if you can
to support/maintain our volunteer-run operation!

Eco Party Kit
We offer this kit for local use to help people avoid using and disposing of lots of plastic/single-use/disposable plates/cups/cutlery when they host a party! There are separate boxes of glasses available also upon request (not for children’s parties). The Eco Party Kit lives at the ‘Giving Garage’ at the Marston Eco Hub, and is available for pick up and drop off on Saturday mornings, or by special arrangement with a volunteer. To book the kit, please use the link below – read the info, check the calendar/availability and complete the form! When you book, your booking will automatically be marked on the calendar and the kit marked as unavailable to others on those dates.
Use of the kit is free, but donations to LCM are welcome (Ref: Party Kit). Bank details are at the Marston Eco Hub/Refill Shed. Email: marstonecogroup@gmail.com
Marston Wombles
We participate annually in OxClean, and also hold occasional litter-picking outings throughout the year. If you wish to go out litter-picking locally with a group of friends or family, get in touch to borrow the kit! Email: marstonecogroup@gmail.com
Giving Garage and Community Larder
At the Marston Eco Hub every Saturday morning 9-11am, volunteers are at the Giving Garage to assist people who wish to borrow garden/household equipment (e.g. rakes, spades, ladders, strimmers, wheelbarrows, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, apple press & picker), as well as those who need to drop off/pick up the Eco Party Kit (see above). You can also pick up or drop off free plant pots, vases, mugs, kettles and other garden/household items during these hours. On these mornings, the Community Larder is also open for free collection of food items by anyone who needs them. Arrive by 9am for the Community Larder, and after 9:30am for other items. For further details email Revd Skye (joskso@yahoo.co.uk), call 01865 202988 or click the link below.
